120 GB Sony PlayStation 3 Slim

Sony PlayStation 3 Slim

The slim, comes with a 120 GB hard drive, and will be 32% lower and 36% lighter than the standard PlayStation 3 and uses 34% less energy. The $ 300 price applies to all the PlayStation 3 starting tomorrow. The Slim will be available throughout the first week of September.

Here are some more details. The 80 GB PS3 (current model) was updated to $ 300 while the PS3 160GB will be $ 400. PS3 will have a new logo and any change in the official name of PLAYSTATION 3 for the PlayStation 3 should not be shouting all the time.

We also have a BRAVIA Sync function that lets you control the XMB Sony PS3 remote with your television if it is connected via HDMI. And TV will automatically turn off the PS3 when the TV turns off.

There is also a vertical support retail for $ 24 on Sept. 3. Whether you can stand up vertically for long periods without support is unknown. Sony also says they are removing the property installation of other operating systems on the Slim, so no more of Linux.
